What do we charge?

We understand that it is very daunting to call a plumber when you have no idea what the cost will be. We like to give you a very clear idea of what we charge, so there are no nasty surprises when you get the bill!

1. Dealing with an emergency (three hour response time), such as:

• Gas escapes
• Boiler breakdowns
• Heating faults
• Hot water problems
• Discharging overflows
• Leaks
• Blockages
• Drips
• Seized and inoperable valves

If you call us during normal working hours, (Mon-Fri 8.00am-6.00pm and Sat 9.00am-1.00pm) we will charge you £ 65 plus VAT per hour (or part hour)

2. Dealing with regular gas/heating services that can be booked ahead, such as:

• Gas appliance servicing and repair.
• Heating pumps and controls
• Boilers
• Cookers
• Gas Fires
• Water heaters
• Landlords gas safety certificates - gas safety records

We will charge you £ 55 plus VAT for the first hour, and £ 25 per half hour (or part of) thereafter during normal working hours (Mon-Fri 8.00am-6.00pm and Sat 9.00am-1.00pm).

3. For smaller plumbing jobs booked in advance, and services or repairs to:

• Taps
• Ball valves
• Showers
• Leaks
• Blockages

We will charge you £ 55 plus VAT for the first hour, and £ 15 plus VAT per half hour after that, during normal working hours, (Mon-Fri 8.00am-6.00pm and Sat 9.00am-1.00pm) Please note that all the prices above only include labour - any materials we use will be extra.

4. For Power Flushing, cleaning out all the silt and sludge from your radiators:

We will charge you £ 350 plus VAT up to ten radiators and £ 25 per radiator after that. (We do this by appointment only)
